Hotels & Resorts

While the park will not have the blessing of size and sprawling space that would allow for one of its mega themed or stock resorts that are present at most parks, with the vertical and layered design, it did allow architects and Imagineering the opportunity to incorporate some lodging into the new resort. Already a common practice in large cities around the world, stacking hotels on top of existing structures was nothing new and the inclusion of at least some lodging will provide those who stay over, some exclusivity of being literally in the park. Two hotels are initially up for inclusion into the resort at large.

First up, The Main Street Hotel. In regards to theming, the Main Street Hotel will not be your over the top variety of Disney resort, but more understated with touches of decor throughout in keeping with the American Waterfront theme that this new Main Street has adopted. Colors and wood tones will help accent the 225 rooms of the hotel in keeping with the vibe of the various levels of the park below and all around. One of the prime features of this hotel will be its location within the park front and center. Multiple levels of the hotel will have front facing views into the open story part of the structure that showcases both the Moonlight Castle and World of Color Lake. 365 days of perfect views for any guests lucky enough to nab these rooms or to watch from the 2 story observation deck.

If adventure and neon is your thing, The Tomorrowland Tower will be your choice of stay during your visit to Disneyland Toronto. Taking its cues from the land around it, TTT exudes all of the fun excitement of space travel that is Tomorrowland. Initially built to accomodate guests of Space Inc who’d come for their first trip into space, the hotel morphed into 265 rooms of luxurious space age rooms. The hotel itself is filled with all manor of video boards showcasing the attractions and land around where you may here random announcements announcing departure times and the like. During your stay you’ll feel like a citizen of Tomorrowland thanks to all of the decor and theming that continues the story of the land just outside.
